Us Supreme Court Overturns Liberty And Bodily Autonomy

“Building the Vision” Capital Campaign – Lifeline Heart of Worship Church Capital Campaign

Today, the United States Supreme Court took the dreaded step to overrule Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey with its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Womens Health. The reality is that we now have free states and non-free states when it comes to bodily autonomy. Such an action runs counter to advancing dignity, equal justice and self-determination. Cornerstone values that generations have sought to achieve.

We work in partnership with individuals and organizations who share our vision of sustainable communities and social and economic justice.

We recognize that a history of discriminatory financial practices and intentional disinvestment have contributed to a lack of economic progress in low-income communities and communities of color. Community Vision provides capital and technical assistance for communities that have been systemically disadvantaged to ensure fairness in opportunities, resources, and rights for everyone.

Tax Filings And Audits By Year

Project Management

The IRS Form 990 is an annual information return that most organizations claiming federal tax-exempt status must file yearly. Read the IRS instructions for 990 forms.

If this organization has filed an amended return, it may not be reflected in the data below. Duplicated download links may be due to resubmissions or amendments to an organization’s original return.

Nonprofit organizations that spend $750,000 or more in Federal grant money in a fiscal year are required to submit an audit covering their finances and compliance. Some of these are program specific, while others, called single audits, look at the entire organization. Nonprofit Explorer has PDFs of these audits for some nonprofits for fiscal year 2015 and later. Theyre provided by the Federal Audit Clearinghouse.

  • The Internal Revenue Service is substantially delayed in processing and releasing nonprofit filings, so documents available here may not be the most recent an organization has filed. ProPublica posts new tax forms as they are released by the IRS.

Our Name Has Changed And Were Thrilled To Reintroduce Ourselves As Community Vision

First, a little context:

For 32 years, weve proudly served Northern and Central California communities as Northern California Community Loan Fund . Our work and purpose has evolved with the community leaders, organizations, and social enterprises that inspire us daily. We are excited to walk tall on the path carved for us by more than three decades of learning and growing with and in California communities.

Some of you may be asking, why would we want to change our name?

The answer is simple.

We completed a yearlong branding and strategic planning process, and one of our biggest takeaways was how important it was for us to be a part of the communities we work within.

As Community Vision, we not only provide strategic investment and guidance to the communities we serve, but we also aim to help folks realize the powerful visions they have for themselves, their organizations, and their communities.

We are even more deeply committed to our founders vision of confronting economic and racial inequity through lending and consulting, and though our name has changed our values and beliefs remain the same.

When all communities have equal access to and guidance through the resources they need to thrive, then and only then will all of our work be done.

Join us in celebrating the beginning of our new journey as Community Vision!
